Live Review: Outfit 'Framed'

Framed’ will get you pumped for Outfit’s upcoming second album, Slowness.

Hailing from Liverpool, the birthplace of The Beatles (need anymore be said?) muso’s OUTFIT have released their latest track, ‘Framed’, giving fans a glimpse of major things to come.

‘Framed’ will get you pumped for Outfit’s upcoming second album, Slowness. The album comes from an emotional place with the band being spread out and separated across the globe from both each other and their loved ones. ‘Framed’ is an passionate song that drives the boundaries of pop, electronic and lyricism.

The beat makes you feel a sense of urgency, like you have to get onto the road and get moving. If you want to picture the perfect movie scene to accompany this it is definitely that of lovers running towards each other with dramatic scenery. This may sound a touch corny but you have to picture it with a meaningful, cinematic vibe as ‘Framed’ is far from a corny track.

‘Framed’ sets the tone for the whole album. Following the emotional adventure the band took to record it, the piano plays a melancholy role combined with rhythm sections that have come to be Outfit’s trademark. Combined with guitars and synthesizers the sound is a unique combination running through multiple genres to keep your ears tantalized and your emotions running high.
