Sydney duo OLYMPIC AYRES released their second EP Episode II a few months back with a sensibility that played it fast and loose with genres, and now with a Episode II: The Remixes we have the original EP re-released as a remix set, with each track remixed by a different producer, all staying true to duo's genre spanning attitude.
With remixes from MOONBASE COMMANDER, SAFIA and our very own PURPLE SNEAKERS DJS there is a diversity at play that compliments OLYMPIC AYRES in a great way, reworking the original tracks into an indie dancer ('the View'), a slow jam ('Lose You') and a super basey mid-tempo track ('River Song'). However, no matter how varied these tracks may seem, they are all grounded in OLYMPIC AYRES' dance attitude and voice.
