You may or may not have heard that two-piece NUTRITION downsized to a solo project not too long ago, but that hasn't stopped the pursuit of Eli Coppock in making forward thinking club music.
He's got a long awaited new single, and it more than lives up to all of the hype.
Titled 'Advice Needed', this hypnotic number feels paranoid from the opening bar. It's frantic in its vocal sample and choice of lyrics, yet contrastively, the beat and percussion feel quite planned and formulaic.
It's anthemic that's for sure. I love the way this one feels so systematic, like Nutrition has been sitting on this one for a long while, tweaking it every so often.
This one for me, sits up there with the best club aficionados, stylistically and in terms of delivery too. Nutrition has a knack for making forward thinking sounds, and I think more than anything, 'Advice Needed' is a huge indicator that this producer's a heavyweight in not only the Australian scene, but worldwide too.
