Live Review: MY BODY 'All I Can'

My Body release their latest single, off their EP '6 Wives' set for release next month.

Brooklyn synth pop duo MY BODY has managed to infect Australia from across the globe with their sweet jar of nectar-like tunes. Showcasing an exquisite and modern sound with killer loops and shimmery candied vocals, it accelerates into a strong case of addiction.

'All I Can' is a strict track that confesses their fancy hallucinations with delicate ways and a fascination for looping lyrics and layers upon layers of quick firing beats and glistering shimmy lyrics. Jordan Bagnall, who acts as the primary producer and songwriter, latches onto her strong classical training enabling her to create refreshing loops of her candy-like vocals, while Darren Bridenbeck filters in a mesh of beats that cements the grooves into place.

Despite it being an endearing love song, it leaves a poignant taste on the lips after swooping in for the kiss.  It is strange to see how such lush and sensuous music could actually evoke something dispiritingly beautiful within us.

'All I Can' is off their EP, '6 Wives', set for release next month.
