Lupa J has returned with the rather angry track ‘Dirty Skin’, and you still won’t believe this talent is only 17, and currently sitting her final exams.

We were first introduced to the talents of 17 year old Sydneysider LUPA J a little while ago, with her debut track ‘Quiet Here’. She has returned with the rather angry track ‘Dirty Skin’, and you still won’t believe this talent is only 17, and currently sitting her final exams.

‘Dirty Skin’ presents the true depths of talent from Lupa J. It is a very different sound to ‘Quiet Here’. She provides the vocals, and has also produced the track, with Tim Whitten (who has worked with Powderfinger and The Hoodoo Guru’s in the past) on mix duties.

Lupa J uses ‘Dirty Skin’ as a chance to express feelings surrounding a friendship that ended in a very damaging way. It opens with a menacing sound.

The sound is kind of bubbly, as though you are being fooled into something being much sweeter then it truly is. The lyrics provide the alter ego of the track as you hear the anger through Lupa J’s words.

‘Dirty Skin’ is out now on iTunes.
