Unless LORD HURON went and bought himself a small plot of land in the Scottish Highlands (winning birthday present by the way) I'm guessing his title is artistic licence. Still, don't let his common status sway you from listening to singer/songwriter BEN SCHNEIDER who is essentially a one man band. I note your concern but please remain calm. Your vision of Bert from Mary Poppins is far from the reality.
LORD HURON plays every instrument on his melodic, folk recordings and to save breath uses a group of outstanding musicians to join him on stage whilst playing live. His new song 'Time to Run' paints a picture of a country side train trip with multiple stops allowing for joyful frolicking. Using a mix of emotive folk with a hint of tribal the tune embraces charming lyrics, perfectly balanced with the use of upbeat and chirpy percussion. LORD HURON's voice is both poetic and ambient, a musician who would be well worth experiencing live.
