Live Review: LISTEN: Lil Silva 'The Distance' EP

UK's Bedford-born DJ and producer, LIL SILVA has announced plans to drop a new EP 'The Distance' featuring guest vocal spot from London songstress ROSIE LOWE and SBTRKT collaborator SAMPHA.

LIL SILVA's production combines a high-energy take on grime and UK funky with a knowledge of American house that results in some seriously powerful tunes. This EP is the first time SILVA has recorded his own vocal talents alongside LOWE on 'No Doubt'. SILVA has made quite an impression on the blossom of the UK funk scene when he was first discovered in 2009 for his debut 12in, 'Seasons/Funky Flex'. In 2011 LA SILVA dropped the grime-influenced dance EP 'The Patience' which also features vocals by SAMPHA.

Before 'The Distance' EP drops on the 5th of Aug on record label GOOD YEARS, the EP cut 'Mask' can be streamed below on YouTube and the track list can be checked out below.
