Live Review: Leisure Suite ‘Sweet Gin’

If a new EP's not enough to satisfy you, LEISURE SUITE have put out the extrasensory first single from the EP titled ‘Sweet Gin’.

Although their group has decreased in size, that doesn’t mean that’s stopping the sounds from coming in strong. LEISURE SUITE, a duo from Melbourne, worked hard last year to put out their first run of singles, as well as being welcomed onto the live scene with a bang.

They’re set to release an EP a little later in the year, so keep an ear out for that one. However, if that’s not enough to satisfy you, the duo have put out the extrasensory first single from the EP titled ‘Sweet Gin’.

Keeping up with their minimal-whitewash sound, they’ve done so well in making use of the quiet little delicacies they harbour so closely.

Combine this gorgeous soundscape with a bout of carefully projected vocals, all tied together with a sweet air of thoughtfulness, and you’ve got the perfect mix of tones, sounds and textures.

We thought Leisure Suite were definitely onto something when we dubbed them artists to watch for this year, and we’re so stoked that their new music is just as thoughtful as their previous stuff.
