Befitting of his moniker, LE YOUTH sounds sentimentally familiar. He's got that kind of bouncy house aesthetic that could've been stamped at almost any time during the past twenty years: a sound at once modern and yet thoroughly nostalgic for the vibes of yesteryear.

As fact would have it, he's only been on the scene for a couple of years. Hailing from the City of Angels, LE YOUTH (aka Wes James) grooved his way onto the airwaves in 2012 with his breezy, CASSIE-sampling/covering hit 'C O O L'. Having only been released in 2006, CASSIE's 'Me & U' might not seem overly 'nostalgic' as far as R&B house sampling goes—but LE YOUTH casts out further than that when reeling in the vibes for his latest track, 'Feel Your Love'.

'Feel Your Love' is a throwback to a time of simpler musical pleasures: when dance-happy meant radio-friendly meant hit-selling chart-topper. Positive energy's the name of the game here. It's channelling the kind of groovy late 90s/early 00s bliss that could've sat shoulder-to-shoulder with ERIC PRYDZ and BASEMENT JAXX on Friday night Rage sessions: playful, spry-fingered keys ricocheting under falsetto vocal hooks, courtesy of smooth-tongued pop prince JAVEON.

JAVEON's feature adds a certain heart-melting, swoony gloss to the track. It's sexy, but in a clean and innocent way: like a boner at your high school disco. He just wants to feel your lovin'. LE YOUTH's infectious beats won't leave you with much of a say in the matter.
