'It’s Hard To Push Back The Fear': Jay Watson Steps Into The Light As GUM

Live Review: Lapalux ft. Szjerdene 'Closure'

Lapalux and Szjerdene have teamed up to bring you 'Closure'; a brand new single taken from Lapalux's forthcoming record, Lustmore.

Stuart Howard, otherwise known as English producer LAPALUX, has teamed up with the gorgeously gifted voice of SZJERDENE for their marvellously ample track, 'Closure'.

Portraying a jungle full of looming eyes, haunting beasts and intrusive beings, this synth-ladden tune will leave you cast under a rather heavy spell. An area where it is simultaneously all four seasons, the dense smog and rain showers will have you disembodied. Once you realise you can work with rather than against this insane labyrinth of hidden secrets, your attention will instantly grab a hold of the song's empress; vocalist Szjerdene.

A rather evocative piece of music, the texturalised soundscape that is, 'Closure' will sit in the pit of your stomach long after listening, particularly those in a position to easily relate to its lyricism.

'Closure' is taken from Lapalux's forthcoming record, Lustmore, that will be available via Brainfeeder on Tuesday, 7th April. You can grab 'Closure' from Lustmore via iTUNES.

Words by Hannah Galvin.
