KLAVES is the pseudonym of 21 year old Polish producer, Mikolaj Gramowski. Garnering attention for his simple and minimalistic approach towards house music, Gramowski has now joined a handful of Polish producers to feature on Flirtini's Heartbreaks and Promises compilation.
'Tell Me' takes basis in pulsating chord progressions, whimsical synth-work fillers and an outro scattered with low, saxophone riffs. Gramowski has crafted a laid-back house number that never over exerts itself with the typical 'build-and-drop' formula, but rather allows listeners to cruise along with each murmur of a vocal sample and hand clap heard. For a newcomer, it'll be interesting to see how Gramowski progresses and further develops his sound.
Now on its second collection, 'Tell Me' features on the forthcoming Heartbreaks and Promises compilation (out through Asfalt records). Starting on the interesting concept of 'instrumental love stories about intimate situations that never really happened', this compilation was created by Flirtini, a project by pals Ment XXL and Jedynak (who have produced/remixed/DJ-ed their way across Poland), with the pair showcasing some of Poland's established and upcoming producers on the Electronic scene.
