Kilo Kish's fantastic 'Curious' gets an equally great rework by Le Flex.
Kitsune have launched a contest to find the best remix of Kilo Kish's Curious, and the results are in, and the winner is truly worth your listen.
Le Flex transforms Kish's off kilter funk jam to a shimmery electro pop hit. Kilo Kish, favourite of Childish Gambino and Chet Faker, marked the 2014 with the release of her her EP 'Across'. More experiential and laid back than previous releases, it saw the unexpected singer-songwriter find her own unique voice away from the alt r'n'b label she'd be cast in.
Le Flex fleshes out the original track with light fun synths that are the perfect pairing to Kilo's distinctive vocal chops. On his SoundCloud page the remixer says he makes 'Music for the beach', which is pretty apt - with the song have distinguished 'summery' vibe.

The producer had this to say to Noisey about his music:
"I'm from London but I have many friends in Paris so I spend a lot of time there because it's a beautiful city with wonderful people. I started the Le Flex project just over a year ago because I love the French touch, nu disco and the 80s sound and wanted to make music that would be cool for a club and also on a beach.
"For my music I always try to bring a flavor of old and new in my tracks. I think taking the cool synth sounds of the past and mixing them with the modern production techniques from today is a combination that so many people love."
