Kali Uchis has released her eagerly-anticipated second album titled Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞.

Colombian-American artist KALI UCHIS has gifted us with a brand new album in this cursed hellfire of a year, providing us with thirteen new songs to get completely lost in. Featuring the likes of PARTYNEXTDOORRico NastyJowell & Randy and Jhay Cortez, the record is titled Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞, which translates to ‘Without Fear (Of Love And Other Demons)’ and is a stunning follow up to her acclaimed 2018 release, Isolation.

Predominantly in Spanish, Uchis defies traditional genre constraints and tropes, opting instead for unpredictable boundary-breaking fusions which blend seamlessly from one song to the next. Her vocals are absolutely heavenly, and she continually switches up her style from downtempo RnB moments to high energy heaters. The same Uchis we fell in love with who is behind hits like 'Dead To Me', 'Tyrant' and "After The Storm' is still there, but she's more bold, confident and ambitious than ever, and the whole record drips in self-assured swagger and conviction.

This album follows on from her earlier EP this year, To Feel Alive, which contained songs Uchis explicitly said were not related to the album. “I REPEAT THIS IS *NOT* THE ALBUM. THIS IS JUST AN EP OF FOUR SONGS I MADE FOR MY BABIES UNTIL THEN,” she wrote in a comment on the Instagram post announcing the EP. On Twitter, Uchis discussed Sin Miedo, saying, "this album is full of so many genres that made my childhood & i am very proud of its range of emotions & nostalgia. i hope it brings you any bit of the joy it has brought me. thank you. SIN MIEDO."

Including lead single ‘¡aquí yo mando!’ featuring Rico Nasty, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞ is Kali Uchis in her own terms, stronger and more self-realised than we've previously heard, and as a result, she's even more potent, dramatic and addicting than ever.
