Live Review: Tom Misch remixes Jordan Rakei's "Midnight Mischief"

Blending the sounds of jazz, soul and funk together with an electronic backbone is very hard to accomplish, but when done right can be absolutely glorious.

JORDAN RAKEI has had quite the year. After releasing his debut album 'Cloak', he's about to venture off on a tour across Europe. Now along with friend and fellow collaborator TOM MISCH, he has released a beautiful melodic remix of single 'Midnight Mischief', giving it a more electronic touch.

Tom Misch has completely transformed what was a real tear-jerker of a track, adding a soft catchy beat and chopping and changing the instrumentals, yet keeping the serenity and essence of Jordan Rakei's unique sound. Take a listen for yourself:
