Rising producer Jonny Reebok has tapped friend and collaborator Myspace Juan for a special rework of his single, 'Ghost Town Riddim'.
Rising producer Jonny Reebok recently gifted us with a AA-side, Aphrodite Dub/Ghost Town Riddim, which further solidified his presence as a serious force in the scene thanks to his fully-fledged versatility as a producer, his crystalised sonic vision and his ambition to keep pushing his sounds into new territories. It followed a string of equally impressive singles which date right back to 2018's 'You Don't Know Flavours Bwoy' (which we are still regularly rinsing), and promisingly set the scene for what might be still to come.
Until then, however, our thirst has been quenched thanks to a special new rework courtesy of Jonny Reebok-collaborator Myspace Juan, with the Sydney talent taking over 'Ghost Town Riddim'. While the original was spacious and unhurried, Myspace Juan's take is a shifting, propulsive and confident remix rooted in footwork. It's a spine tingling mix, with Juan really seizing the moment to make his impact felt on the already stellar original.
Jonny Reebok said of the remix, “Being mates with someone as naturally talented as Myspace Juan is both inspiring and very annoying. Everything this man touches ends up sounding so interesting and unique.”
