Hot Chip's Joe Goddard has taken Jessie Ware's 'Night Light' and transformed it into something worth dancing to!
Are you afraid of the dark? Do you have to sleep with artificial lighting in the hope that it will ward off the creepy dudes that keep appearing in your dreams? Is this a really stupid introduction?
Well maybe, but if you actually do need some love to get you into sleep mode, fret no more as JOE GODDARD of Hot Chip has enhanced the party vibes of Jessie Ware's 'Night Light'.

Originally playing out as a semi-dark track, Goddard has turned 'Night Light' upside down by pouring in that disco-esque flavour that Hot Chip are so damn good at executing.
Although it still does cast a few heavy shadows in its tone, Goddard has tailored this track completely; allowing it to venture off from its slow groove nature into a disco-dance environment. Besides keeping Ware's killer vocals, he's done this through the use of a high kick drum, consistent basslines and a gazillion synth samples and patterns. The unity of these layers measure up to the original instrumentation in a different textural light.
Ultimately, you're left with a mix bursting at the seams. There's just so much going on, all you can do is stop thinking and dance.
So whether you're going to be jiving in your bed or somewhere a little more spacious, allow this 'Night Light' mix to shine all over you in the most sonic way possible!
