Live Review: LISTEN: How To Dress Well ‘Ocean Floor For Everything’

The latest from How to Dress Well; 'Ocean Floor for Everything' comes off his new, cheerfully-titled album Total Loss

HOW TO DRESS WELL, Aka Tom Krell, Aka That Guy With The Voice An Angel Would Kill For, has just released the first single off his cheerfully-titled new album, Total Loss.

The track, ‘Ocean Floor For Everything’, is built on the same clear, echoing vocal and swirling atmosphere that characterised Krell’s first album Love Remains. Around the middle it opens up into a simple, beautiful piano driven piece with handclaps and guttural chanting acting as the rhythm section. It’s a bit less RnB than his previous work; it’ll be interesting to see if this is indicative of Krell heading in an even more chilled out direction for Total Loss.
