Live Review: Hearteyes joins forces with Brodinski and COUCOU CHLOE on new single, 'Bustdown Entrails'

Sydney/Warrang based producer and songwriter Hearteyes has released another banging single off his forthcoming 'Headbangers 2' project.

Sydney/Warrang based producer and songwriter Hearteyes has released another banging single off his forthcoming 'Headbangers 2' project, this time recruiting French legends Brodinski and COUCOU CHLOE for 'Bustdown Entrails'. His run of new material this year has solidified him as an underground artist that continuously blurs the lines between genre tropes and one that utilises collaboration to create music that is truly singular.

With this in mind it's no surprise he has reached out to two forward thinking, eclectic artists in their own right for his new single. An unrelenting track at heart, the French artists add a whole new layer of personality on top of the gut wrenching instrumentation. Booming and clipping drums combines perfectly with moody and muffled top line vocals, creating an eerie yet exciting 2 minutes. Despite his definite ability to provide one, Hearteyes doesn't need a catchy hook or familiar instrumentation to engage an audience, rather he uses his production skill and versatility to create a musical project that features unpredictable turns, experimentation and an in your face bravado that demands attention.

Of the single, Hearteyes explains; The song tows the line between fantasy and reality - a protagonist unable to define and differentiate their actions in either world. Unapologetic and romanticising mutilation, hysteria, paranoia and drug-induced psychosis to reach a higher level of self-enlightenment to become the centre of the universe.
