'It's All Faintly Ridiculous': Pond Wade Through Dissatisfaction For Hope On 'Terrestrials'

Live Review: LISTEN: Frank Ocean 'Pyramids'

Clocking in at just under 10 minutes, ‘Pyramids’ finds Frank Ocean chasing his “black queen Cleopatra” in ancient Egypt

ODD FUTURE member and soon to be R n' B superstar FRANK OCEAN has dropped the first single from his long awaited debut Channel, Orange: the epic '90s-esque, soul-infused ‘Pyramids.' Clocking in at just under a whopping 10 minutes, ‘Pyramids’ finds Ocean chasing his “black queen Cleopatra” in ancient Egypt, ending with the star slumming it in a sleazy motel in the present day.

Ocean’s unique storytelling and smooth vocals are the key to this masterpiece, and even the rumoured guitar solo from John Mayer can’t overwhelm the Louisiana native’s stylish flow or awesome cover art.

Frank Ocean is the future. Believe.
