'I Wanted My Album To Feel Bigger Than Just Music': Charley On 'The Chronicles Of A Serial Idealist'

Live Review: PREMIERE: Frames & Felix Lloyd 'Pacifique' (Moonbase Commander Remix)

Moonbase Commander's remix of Frames & Felix Lloyd's track 'Pacifique' will give you somethin' to dance about.

Sydney's king of slow, gooey house FRAMES released his summer drenched EP 'Pacifique' earlier in the year via Club Sweat and sent us spiralling to a place where palm trees and white sand were the norm. The title track features help from fellow Sydney-sider FELIX LLOYD is smooth and sexy with a wholly tropical feel about it.

Following on from this, the track has undergone some remix treatment by some of FRAMES' good friends, including MOONBASE COMMANDER. Hailing from NSW, NICK LUKE, (better known as MOONBASE COMMANDER) is an electronic producer who is no stranger to FRAMES' work. In his remix of 'Pacifique' he manages to change the tone of the track from tropical bliss to a heavier sound with plenty of sub-bass and hip hop influence.

The track uses generous lashings of synths and more bass than you could imagine, giving this originally fairly simplistic easy going track some real depth.
