PACES is a busy man. Being one half of party-bass duo Surecut Kids, as well as co-hosting a Gold Coast radio show it's hard to think of how Mike Perry has enough time in his day to keep up such a quality output with his solo side-project. But, here we are chilling out in the office when what might appear on our soundcloud feed? A shiny new PACES bootleg.
This time around the Gold Coast resident has set his sights onto the sexy hood-R&B track from collaborative ensemble FKI, Natasha Mosley & Alkebulan - A cut from their most recent and creatively named mixtape: "Transformers In The Hood 2".
The bootleg is a creative re-imagining of the original, transforming the piece into a hyphy and tropical cut whilst still hanging onto the sheer sexiness of the original with glissando chimes, verby rimshots and a cheeky addition of bed-spring squeaks.
Coming in at just shy of 4 minutes, the latest PACES bootleg proves to be a cheeky yet impressive extension to the producers quickly growing and already large pool of bootlegs and remixes. Definitely one track to hit the favourite button on!
