Live Review: Dead Times 'Every Moment'

Chilled out r&b done in the best kind of way, the Dead Times way.

LA duo DEAD TIMES return after a few months silence with their new track 'Every Moment'. We already knew these guys has mastered the art of chilled out, down tempo r&b, and this new track only confirms that yet again.

DEAD TIMES have made a name for themselves by producing melodic tracks with an r&b sway, ethereal layers and floating vocals. The latest track from the duo combines all of these elements, plus some soft emotive wailing (the good type, not the screaming child in a supermarket type) and a set of reflective lyrics.

The looped vocals at the very beginning of the track help to set the tone as a down beat, steady track that gives off a vibe of yearning and this cruisy feeling stays throughout the length of the track making it very easy to listen to, and then listen to again. And one more time after that.

Here's hoping this has set DEAD TIMES back on their way so we can see more musical glory continue to flow from this talented pair.
