It's not a new single, but a remix of their current single - 'Free Your Mind'. The rework comes from by London-based producer Fort Romeau, and is an 8 minute burner - filled to the brim with his patented Chicago house-influence.
Backed by a pulsating beat, Romeau brings forward some tribal rhythms, swirling atmospheric synth lines and a barrage of glitchy samples. It's not house as you know it, that's because the up and coming producer refuses to play by the rules when it comes to genres. Of course he maintains a bit of that throwback sound; employing s a groove laden bassline, a female soul vocal sample and light keywork. Overall, it's a dark and haunting dancefloor filler.

If you've ever needed a mid-week pick me up, this is definitely it. Try and get through this epic without at least wanting to cut up some rug. Fuck, we love referencing old dance terms.
The ‘Free Your Mind’ Single Package, with remixes including the Fort Romeau rework, will be available Oct 11th. Whilst the 'Free Your Mind' video clip is due to drop in the coming weeks.
Cut Copy's fourth studio album, also titled Free Your Mind, will be released worldwide this November via Modular Records.
