Live Review: LISTEN: Crayon Fields 'So Do I'

As part of Chapter Music’s 20th Birthday celebration, a double vinyl compilation has been released featuring today’s specialty… Crayon Fields.

As part of Chapter Music’s 20th Birthday celebration, a double vinyl compilation has been released featuring Minimum Chips, Bum Creek, Pikelet, Twerps and today’s specialty… Crayon Fields.

'So Do I' has a heavy eighties feel to it, maybe it’s the pipe organs, the tree bells or the fact that you can see the montage of overlapping pictures of close ups of their faces, cliff faces and the ocean… Either way, Crayon Fields have such a nice vibe to them that you just want to set the track on repeat and go about your daily biz with such harmonious sound floating around in the background.

Personally the track doesn’t really do it for me, I just feel it doesn’t really go anywhere. Although I’m almost certain if you checked the track listing for that ‘cult’ classic Donnie Darko you would find this track there.

Give it a listen and let us know what you think in the comments below….
