If you cast your mind back a couple of months back when COSMO'S MIDNIGHT released 'Phantasm', you'll remember how much of a relaxed and chilled out electronic dance track it is. The vocals of NICOLE MILLAR sound ethereal as they float over the trickling synths and smooth melodies.
Producer FLORIA has turned the Sydney duo's cruisey song into a crunchy track that hits you hard. The grit of the synths stomp over the smooth vocals and paired together it sounds a lot more haunting.
FLORIA has added a steady beat with heavy bass licks and this remix. The track stays very content through its entirety, holding it's ground and neither lashing out or holding back, it's a complex remix but freaking great anyway.
COSMO'S MIDNIGHT are currently floating around the country playing shows at some pretty rad venues, so if they float by your city be sure to check them out and as for FLORIA, we're definitely hoping to hear some more remixes.
