Fresh Finds: Class Of 2025 – Aussie Acts To Add To Your Playlist

Live Review: Get your pop fix with Clean Bridges' 'Click Track'

'Click Track' is the latest output from Clean Bridges and it's filled with a great pop sensibility and your daily dose of absolutely necessary pop.

CLEAN BRIDGES is somewhat of an enigma. With quite a presence on SoundCloud, there's a steady stream of output from the artist that continually streamlines forward and sounds cleaner and bigger with each release.

'Click Track' is the latest output from the Melbourne producer and it's filled to the brim with a great pop sensibility and also your daily dose of absolutely necessary pop.

What I like most about this is how minimal it feels but at the same time, it's so unconventional. The sounds used at the tracks open feel non-diegetic, and bring about an obscure sense of the abstract. It's high-pitched goodness disguised as conventional pop, but it's more clever than that.

The lax vocals make this one feel more whacked out than if it was only the instrumental, but it brings an air of originality and true thought to it making it more memorable than it otherwise would be.

Clean Bridges so obviously knows how to manipulate sounds to the best of their intellect, and it's a real breath of fresh air to hear something so conventional yet totally un-stereotypical.

It's a juxtaposition in its own right, but it's so very distinct.
