DILLON FRANCIS is one of our favourite producers. After wowing audiences at this year's Big Day Out Festival his name has been buzzing across Australia and no one can get enough.
The Mad Decent staple has had a busy 2014, the producer recently played Coachella drawing in a massive crowd. If you still haven't got a reason to love DILLON FRANCIS just yet then you should listen to his new remix of CHROMEO's 'Jealous (I Ain't With It)'. The original has a very catchy melody, providing a well needed dose of funk, as well a very smooth vocal.
The remix stays true to the original but of course, FRANCIS has added in his own elements.
As soon as the edit begins, you can hear elements of the funk that embodied the original mix. The vocals also slide in smoothly and soon we are presented with a few new winding synths and a very strong build up that climax's into a very heavy drop.
DILLON FRANCIS's remix shows a lot of versatility. It has the funk of CHROMEO's original track in places, you have house in others and then heavy EDM drops in others. It takes so many twists and turns. FRANCIS is currently touring the United States and with music like this being released, we want him back ASAP.
