Are you one of the many people like myself who just can't get enough of CHROMEO's funky new single featuring the chillwave heartthrob TORO Y MOI?
Well if you are, have I got some good news for you - US-based 90s house revivalist LE YOUTH has jumped on remix duties, bringing the track into a whole new dimension.
Smooth organ bass, rave pianos, and larger than life kick drums that fill up the entire room replacing the funky disco house vibes that were once upon the original tune. The vocal tracks stay in place, expertly cut up into nastily beefy hooks that push the beat even harder into hyperdrive than what should be possible with a house tune.

Taking the sleek original tune into brave territories, the 'retro' house sound can easily end up resulting in a cheesy throwback sound if not handled with expert care - and lucky there was an expert in charge.
The CHROMEO boys certainly picked well with the producer for the remix, with LE YOUTH developing 'Come Alive' into a cracking good house track chock full of fun times that will no doubt be a warehouse rave go-to track for DJs & selectahs in the months to come.
