Chromatics drop the first single of their new album, 'Just Like You', a sensual slow jam certain to titillate.
Just last week Johnny Jewel debuted new Chromatics material through the release of two new songs to be featured on the upcoming Ryan Gosling film, Lost River.
This week, Johnny keeps on giving with the release of 'Just Like You' - the first single off the group's hotly anticipated new album, Dear Tommy.
'Just Like You' is everything you expect from a Chromatics track - sensual, soothing, and filled to the brim with excellent synth sounds. Yet its more sparse and minimal to the bands previous offerings, with Ruth Radelet layered vocals soaring over the simplistic instrumentation that characterises the song.
Like many of Chromatic's songs, it's another track perfect for long romantic drives in an old 80s mustang.

Whilst the album was initially scheduled for a valentines day release, it is expected to drop some time next month.
Here's what Johnny had to say about the song and the upcoming album:
"I’M SO HAPPY TO SHARE THE FIRST SINGLE OFF OF “DEAR TOMMY” TODAY. GOING TO BE RELEASING A SINGLE A WEEK UNTIL THE ALBUM COMES OUT IN MARCH. I FUCKING LOVE THIS RECORD SO MUCH & I AM LITERALLY FOAMING AT THE MOUTH TO SHARE IT WITH YOU."
