Live Review: LISTEN: Banks 'Are You That Somebody' (Aaliyah Cover)

BANKS' newest single 'Brain' has got everyone falling in love with her cooing vocals. This is a girl that you can listen to constantly without feeling like skipping a track, she has a beautiful voice and an ear for intricate melodies that she utilises in every new piece of material.

BANKS has been exciting other musicians with her work as well and as a result she's been remixed by a variety of producers, making her music circulate all over again with a new makeover.

BBC Radio 1 recently had the artist come and visit their Live Lounge whilst she tours the United Kingdom. During her visit BANKS played a wonderful acoustic rendition of 'Brain' before surprising everyone in the studio with a sweet cover of nineties songstress AALIYAH. The song she decided to cover was 'Are You that Somebody' a very confident and sexy track that features the original singer in her element, dancing and producing those soulful vocals she's known for.

BANKS' rendition of 'Are You that Somebody' is just that much more intricate, with an acoustic guitar making  the track sound more loving.

BANKS will be touring the UK throughout March and into early April, so listen to her cover of 'Are You that Somebody' to keep you going until new material emerges.
