ARTHUR WIMBLE is a mysterious vocalist from Queensland, whose work is being released via TEEF Recordings. 'Hearts' is the follow up to his single 'I love, My Love' and he brings similar ominous vibes to this track as he has done with his previous work.
'Hearts' is a sad song. From the subject matter to the tones of the synth and vocals, it's pretty heavy. Yet it has that upbeat tempo and the occasional uplifting synth that makes it groove the right way. The soft tone of Arthur's vocals complement the gliding synth and dramatic piano so well, he really knows how to complement his production.
As an artist Arthur seems to be a mix of many influences, the main one that comes to mind from a personal standpoint would be The Weeknd, who did something similar in 2011 by not showing his face and remaining anonymous until the release of his debut album with a major label. Arthur has not shown any intention to reveal himself except through TEEF Recordings and the music you see (hear) before you.
