English singer-songwriter, ALYSS has been known to collaborate with artists such as, Snakehips and SG Lewis. Joining the PMR family, she's just released her debut solo EP, Answers, championing its first single, 'The Talking Palm Tree'.
A chattering crackle flickers in the background, as a controlled beat carries the calm melody through to create the pulse of, 'The Talking Palm Tree'. A counteraction of texture, its unusual harmonisation accounts for a really beautiful balance of energies.
Mystical in its downtempo demeanour, Alyss borrows vocal outtakes to break up the atmosphere; which is ironic, as this juxtaposed aesthetic feature materially details a sense of connection in such a way that it almost dictates the composition upon arrival.

Encompassing desire, Alyss' enormous vocals allow the spiritual capacity to go full circle, as this dream-state of freedom is the focal ambition in both the lyricism and instrumentation.
