Tandem turntablist act and noted goofballs Shiftee and Enferno – known in combination as E.A.S.Y., kings of the #LiveRemix – curb the sweetness of Andrew Wyatt’s vocals and A-Trak’s synth-heavy piece with a little sour, by way of gritty trap elements and rhythmic scratching.
The resulting blend is a smooth, considerate club tune with a pervasive, driving beat. You can play it straight, but you and I both know that you’re already hooked. Ever wondered what Flux Pavillion would sound like doing Disclosure? This is basically like that, but much, much better.

Perchance you’re looking for a pick-me-up, be sure to check out the latest episode of A-Trak’s Short Cuts, where the duo are serving skills that pay the bills alongside clownery. I mean, if you’re going to show off your mixing chops, you may as well do it in conjunction with a demonstration of your best 90s R&B impression, right? Extra points authenticity: one chuckle-inducing cut shows the pair mugging to the camera with glasses of rosé in hand as their white shirts billow in the (no doubt fabricated) breeze.
The official remix is out now via Fool’s Gold Records and available for free download.
