"Lime Cordiale are onto something powerful but can benefit in future from being themselves."

Road To Paradise
launches with the anthem-rock of
Spider Legs
. An instant comparison can be drawn to The Delta Riggs.

Hanging Upside Down, a dose of indie-rock, throws Arctic Monkeys into the mix as a second inspiration. While the vocals bathe in popular conventions the arrangements shine through with piano, horn segments, synthesisers and cool bass lines tying together neatly. Other Ties has a strong choir chorus, showing Lime Cordiale are festival-friendly and infectious, though Feel Alright sounds almost entirely modelled after Alex Turner. Lime Cordiale are onto something powerful but can benefit in future from being themselves.
