The moment Kyle Kinane begins to introduce himself from offstage, it is clear that Terrestrial Woes is going to be something special.
Kinane sounds like a hardened sea dog and looks about the same, but his semi-surrealist undertones mixed with effortless observations juxtaposes his uncomplicated demeanour.
While restricting his performance with US-heavy material, Kinane still manages to identify with his audience, and vice versa. His irreverent and sprawling comedic style does lead to the occasional awkward pause, but Kinane is always in the moment and ready to pick the show back up exactly where he left off.
