Album Review: Kreator - Gods Of Violence

StarStarStar

"'Gods Of Violence' continues an already impressive streak."

More Kreator Kreator

If you're waiting for Kreator to return to their raw Pleasure To Kill style, you're going to be disappointed with the German titans' 14th studio offering.

Instead Mille Petrozza and his co-conspirators continue to churn out the Swe-death-influenced melodic thrash that has characterised their recent output. While not reaching the heights of say their two most recent albums Hordes Of Chaos or Phantom Antichrist, Gods Of Violence has plenty to enjoy, with the stomping Satan Is Real and the anthemic Lion With Eagle Wings leading the charge. Kreator have become the most consistent thrash act on the planet and Gods Of Violence continues an already impressive streak.
