'You’re A Part Of It': William Crighton Paints A Vivid Picture With ‘Colonial Drift’

Album Review: Koolta - Revolutions Per Minute

"This record actually has a musicality to it, combined with poetic ability."

Revolutions Per Minute was written, recorded, mixed and produced entirely by the MC himself.

This already puts him a tier above Kanye, who outsources producers and then claims genius. Anyway… the production here is great. Koolta has a real ear. Most Australian hip hop makes you want to eat a pound of gravel and then throw it back up, whereas this record actually has a musicality to it, combined with poetic ability and a focus that actually sits outside the topic of crack cocaine and Nike Air Max.
