Live Review: WATCH: King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard 'Muckraker' (Official Video)

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's ‘Muckraker’, a track that seems to be attracting a tonne of attention and Triple J airplay, has just met and fallen in love with a new video, and the relationship is going down a treat.

Plucked from their ripper of an album ‘12 Bar Bruise’, this new track is a zonked out, gizzardy treat. Who else do we know that could go down to the edge of a lake, sit in the mud and look cool while doing it?

What I like most about this video, besides of course the rad tune that comes along for the ride, is that the boys have fun. They’re just fucking around, playing music, doing what they do. The nineties videogame text at the start doesn’t go down too bad either. Zonkvision, who filmed and edited the clip manages to capture KING GIZZARD AND THE LIZARD WIZARD in a way that shows off the group dynamics, as well as that gizzardy vibe they’ve got going down.

The boys just keep getting better, pumping out rad shit like it’s going out of style. Will there be no end to their general excellence and tomfoolery? I hope not.
