Jim Jefferies

Jim Jefferies isn’t scared to go there and his humour will make you think regardless. It’s a beautiful catch with seeing this guy in action. But hey, a laugh and a cringe never hurt anyone.

More Jim Jefferies More Jim Jefferies

If you aren't able to sit though the 'c-bomb' being dropped every three minutes, in both its polite and aggressive forms, Jim Jefferies ain't the comedian for you. Jefferies has the crafty ability to cross that line people are afraid of crossing. It's also a testament to his ability that even when you think he's gone too far, there's a disturbing logic to his humour that brings it back to the realm of okay and makes a point for logic. A joke complaining about breast cancer for example is turned around to looking into the unfairness of disease charity allocation and the marketing behind charities. The problem arises when the line is crossed, because it takes away from how funny his content is, and a lot of the time the line that is crossed is in the realm of domestic violence. Everyone has a limit to what they think is funny before getting offended, but there just wasn't anything humourous in what he said. But sometimes that's what it's like for comedians in this sphere - say the joke right you are a funny, say it wrong you're an arsehole. Jim Jefferies isn't scared to go there and his humour will make you think regardless. It's a beautiful catch with seeing this guy in action. But hey, a laugh and a cringe never hurt anyone.
