Album Review: Jerry Lee Lewis - Rock & Roll Time

Many would assume Lewis is well past his best years but this new album shows he’s still in rude musical health at 78, delivering a tight, rollicking selection of co-writes and classic covers like Little Queenie and Folsom Prison Blues and bringing on board a raft of guests including Neil Young, Keith Richards and Ron Wood. They all bring their own unique styles to the party but none overshadow ‘The Killer’, who still has fire in his belly and rock’n’roll in his heart even if his voice is beginning to betray his advancing years.
