Jeff Hewitt: V For Vagina

"It seems this show was just perhaps not to this reviewer’s tastes."

Paying homage to the ladies, Jeff Hewitt took the audience through his eight chapters of “pro-woman” comedy, pausing every few jokes to play music and smile, having to encourage the laughter.

Seeming very scripted, the performance was less spontaneous than comedy should be (especially when a chunk of the show appeared to be read from a script itself) and a portion of his jokes just missed the mark. Hewitt had some good ideas and comedic value, and there were parts of the audience that enjoyed themselves, so it seems this show was just perhaps not to this reviewer’s tastes.
