"He really does have a strong grasp of the techniques required to play the complex technical music of this nature."

If you dig progressive instrumental music, the world is a veritable smorgasbord of aural delights for your listening pleasure at the moment, and Australia is a major part of that. Judging by this EP, James Norbert Ivanyi is a massive part of the Aussie contribution.

And not only that, he sets himself apart from the flock through his injection of a futuristic spacey vibe into the soundscapes and an almost fusion-esque aesthetic into the writing. He really does have a strong grasp of the techniques required to play the complex technical music of this nature.

At the same time, it's also super catchy, and it all adds up to a superb listening experience.
