Jack Druce: Adventure Peach

Danielle O'Donohue

"Druce handles his material well... slowly bringing us into his world."

Jack Druce loves adventure. And not just the hiking-through-the-Austrian-Alps kind of adventure (though he has done that). To Druce, summoning the courage to ask a girl out on a train on just an ordinary day on a regular commute takes just as much bravery. Druce handles his material well, putting the noticeably small crowd at ease right from the beginning and slowly bringing us into his world. He delivers his tales with a natural warmth and ease and jumps effortlessly between his many stories and yes, there really is a story about a peach.
