After only just releasing their debut album in July, HONNE have gone ahead and created another great new track for us. Honestly, all of us love a good dose of the duo's smooth melodies, and the new remix they've got for us is catchy as hell so you'll probably have this one playing in your head for a while after the first listen.
Honne have remixed The Temper Trap's track 'Lost' and injected it with a warm array of synths. The original mix is classic Temper Trap, with light vocal harmonies, strong instrumentals and that signature airy vibe the band are known for. In this remix, Honne use a few extra bits and pieces, so whilst the final mix still features some hints of the original, the end result is really now coated in Honne.
There's a new melody filled with synths that pump themselves through 'Lost' with a light tempo. The vocals fly through the piece as they originally did and explode with the synths when the chorus hits. The track feels wholesome and full of colour, feeling like one big party where absolutely everyone is having a good time.
Honne's debut album Warm On A Cold Night is out now and if you loved this remix, it's definitely worth a listen. The duo know how to put a great remix together and 'Lost' is the perfect representation of that.
