Album Review: Gunslingers - Djangus

Melbourne’s Gunslingers taking the listener on a wavy journey through an echoey American western-surf-punk-rock love story.

Drawing influences from Wavves and Bleeding Knees Club among others, Djangus blows a fresh coastal breeze over the well trodden path of rock’n’roll ballads. Crisp guitar melodies jingle over spacy garage-vocal tones that feel familiar, and while the idea of a love song isn’t new, the album has an infectious quality that’ll have you jiving and twisting.
