To celebrate the release of his sophomore EP If I Tremble, Sydney electro-pop artist Jack Grace has shared a massive guest mix of warped electronic cuts.
In no time at all Sydney born, Paris based electronic producer and songwriter JACK GRACE has shaped up into one of Australia's most unique breakout talents. If his just-released sophomore EP If I Tremble is anything to go by, 2018 is set to be the year he blows up - and it's about time. To celebrate, he's 'graced' us with a superb guest mix full of understated electronic dirges and pounding techno cuts.
Jack Grace's oeuvre is warped and melancholic electro-pop; think James Blake with double the layers of electronic ambiance and vocoder vocals. In the lead up to If I Tremble he teased us with an intriguing evolution of his unique sound. Singles like the softly anxious 'Us' or the starkly minimal 'Row Me Home' showed his proficiency in dense and multi-faceted music that morphs from track to track on the EP.
If I Tremble is out now digitally and on vinyl via Of Leisure. To celebrate, he's dropped an absolutely sprawling guest mix with a huge array of different electronic vibes that give a keen insight into what makes Jack Grace tick. You can catch the mix below or tune in to our very own radio show this Saturday on FBi Radio from 5-6. That's 94.5 DAB+ for you Sydney folk, or fbiradio.com to stream it online.
