Hailing from the hinterland around Byron Bay, there is something very mystical about the music of Nutrition that kind of reminds you of the landscape he grew up in. He has just dropped the video for ‘Space Odyssey’ off his soon to be released EP, which transports you into many headspaces and landscapes.

Basically this video has a lot of old school space visions, the kind you would have encountered in primary school space documentaries, that made you believe aliens may of existed, and where you learned Uranus is towards the back of the galaxy.

Nutrition has combined some very old school electronic sounds to create the aural aesthetics that transport you to an other-worldy headspace in ‘Space Odyssey’. Taking a continuous synth that seems to be working on over time, it’s the deep bass sounds that catapult the track from something of wonderment to something a little terrifying.

When added to the visuals Nutrition has formulated something that makes you question our existence on little old Earth. It’s definitely a late bight vibing track, the time when all the big questions come to your mind on the dance floor.

Nutrition’s EP These Days Don’t Exist featuring ‘Spacey Odyssey’ is out October 13.
