Gallery: Channel Tres @ Oxford Art Factory, Sydney

By know, you'd probably think that we're a little bit obsessed with Compton artist CHANNEL TRES. Not too long ago, we sat down with him for a chat ahead of his debut EP release where we talked the history of Chicago house music, life growing up in Compton and Lynwood, and why he wants to help people lose their inhibitions and shake their asses instead.

He's just wrapped up his debut Australian tour playing a bunch of shows up and down the east coast, including appearances at Soothsayer's City Loop in Melbourne & Spilt Milk in Canberra. We were lucky enough to catch him while he was in Sydney, and our pal James Simpson took some snaps of Channel for our Shot For Sneakers portrait series.

James headed to Channel's Sydney show over the weekend at the Oxford Art Factory to check out what he's been putting down over the last couple of weeks and capture some of the energy he was bringing to the show. Check out James' snaps below!
