Fringe: Illuminate

An inventive exploration into the use of lighting in circus production, Illuminate offers wow factor acrobatics lit up by torches, fairy lights, sparkly hula hoops and flashing strobes. Performers tiptoe across a row of bottles filled with fairy lights, do backflips behind a semi-circle of lamps and aerially contort themselves in ropes with muscles all rippling in the spotlight. The juggler executes killer dance-juggling moves lit by glow-in-the-dark batons. Even the few odd stumbles add to all the drama in the darkness. Gasp-inducing and imaginative, the entertaining Illuminate presents old tricks in a creative new light.
