"Though the original tracks are old enough to have little tracks of their own in the charts... it's aged remarkably well."
If you don't care a lot about the Faith No More that existed before Mike Patton, or even know Chuck Mosley, this re-release might pass you by, but it shouldn't.
Even though the original tracks are old enough to have little tracks of their own in the charts - and they were pretty rough and ready originally — it's aged remarkably well. It's still wild and originally abrasive, but the passion and intent embedded in this debut are cleaner than ever here and the nine extra tracks (a selection of demos, remaster mixes, and live recordings) almost double the worth of an already worthwhile listen.
